STUDIO POLICIES

Registration
There is an annual registration fee of $35 per family payable upon registration for school-year classes along with the first month's tuition.  Celebration Residents will receive a 10.00 discount on this fee. The registration fee and first month's tuition are non-refundable. The registration fee covers the school year from mid-August to the end of May and cannot be pro-rated. This single annual fee covers the entire family for both Dance and Gymnastics. There is no registration fee for summer sessions.

Tuition Payment Information
Monthly tuition for regularly scheduled dance classes is based on a minimum of 32 classes for our Town Hall location, and 30 classes for our Heritage Hall location provided over a 9.5- month period from mid-August through the end of May. Total school-year tuition is divided into 9.5 installments and is payable on the first of each month in advance via automated credit card or debit card. The installment payment for August is one half the regular installment and only applies to classes held in our Town Hall location. There is a $15 late fee applied to all accounts that are 5 days delinquent, this fee will increase to $25 after 10 days. All classes on the account will be dropped after a balance is on said account for 60 days. Payment for all summer camps and classes for both dance and gymnastics is due upon registration. A 30-day notice is required to withdraw from any class.

Make-ups and Cancellations
There are additional dance classes and special rehearsals scheduled to allow for holidays, special event closings in Celebration, weather related closings, and last-minute teacher absences for which a substitute teacher cannot be provided. There will be no make-up classes scheduled or credits given unless such closings drop a given class below the 32/30-class minimum upon which tuition is based.

Recital and Costume Fees
Costume fees for the year-end Spring Dance Showcase are $85. This fee is for each recital class requiring a costume and it will be charged to your account on January 1. No costume fees will be refunded after this date because ordered costumes are not returnable to the suppliers. In addition, withdrawing from a class after January 1st is prohibited, due to the affect it will have on the other dancers in the class. Extreme cases will be taken into consideration. Families participating in the annual Dance recital will be charged a recital fee of $80 on April 1. This covers the cost of renting the hall, technical support and professional video production for the performance. Each participating family will receive four complimentary tickets to the show and a complimentary digital video of the show as well. Since we have updated our gymnastics program to now be tumbling based, all of our gymnastics classes will be performing a floor routine in the same show.

Cancellations and Withdrawals
Monthly tuition installments are posted on the first of each month. There is a 30-day notice requirement for withdrawal from any dance class and the withdrawal will become effective on the first of the following month. Notice must be in writing or via email to the studio manager, not the teacher. Notice given to the studio manager during the first week of classes in any given month will meet the notice requirement. Once posted, tuition can not be refunded. Dropping a dance class after costumes are ordered in January are posted is prohibited as it places a burden on the teacher and the class to alter their choreography to accommodate the change. There are no refunds for costumes or recital fees once posted to you account.
