Miss Suzanne
Suzanne grew up in the Washington DC area, studying ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, modern, lyrical, and hip hop at her family-owned studio, and has been dancing for over twenty-five years. She has performed at a variety of local and international venues. At the age of 10 she performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC, and at the age of 13 she performed in Cinderella on Broadway with Colin Mochrie. She also had the opportunity to perform at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. In 2006, she was selected to compete at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California, as a member of Team USA. She came home with a Senior World Championship title as well as a Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal. She also was awarded a scholarship to the New York School of Film and Television. Suzanne spent a year in New York City, performing with the Scarlet Fever Dance Company and continued her training at Broadway Dance Center as well as various master classes in the city. She was invited to perform as one of four dancers for an American performance by the popular Swedish recording artist, Agnes. Suzanne has been a featured performer at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, where she was once honored as "Performer of the Year". Suzanne was the dance captain for the Capone’s dinner theater, was an underwater performer for Seaworld Orlando, was a stiltwalker for Legoland Orlando, and was a certified instructor for The Bar Method. Suzanne has performed with Cirque Dreams Productions in their Jungle Fantasy tour as well as numerous performances across the United States and Canada. She has choreographed for Capone’s dinner theater, Cirque Dreams, and a variety of gigs across Orlando. Suzanne has always loved teaching with her sister Lindsay, ever since they were younger and were teaching together at their family studio in DC. Being able to have everything come full circle now as the Assistant Director here at X-factor and getting to share her love of dance and passion for the arts with the next generation alongside her sister is everything she could have ever hoped for.
